EnhSim

Starting EnhSim gives error: enhsim.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

If you click the "For more information about this error", and you see something like this:

My EP values are changing every time I simulate.

This is normal and is caused by random numbers. Although, if your numbers change a lot, the problem might be your config. Check the EP guide.

Simulated DPS seems too low.

Are you running out of mana in the simulator? If you have Out of mana time more than 0%, it means at some point you run out of mana and your DPS decreases dramatically. Check your settings, especially that SR(Shamanistic Rage) is in the rotation. If you still think EnhSim is wrong about your mana, you can just disable mana simulations by setting simulate_mana to 0.

Another reason could be, your rotation is not doing what you think it's doing. For example, if you are an enhancement shaman, you might have put LB in the rotation instead of MW5_LB. This would make the simulator cast Lightning Bolts, even if you don't have stacks of Maelstrom Weapon.

What stats should I use with EnhSim?

Unbuffed stats. In game, remove all buffs including weapon imbues(windfury, flametongue etc). Look at your paper doll and you have your EnhSim compatible stats.

EnhSim sometimes crashes when I use many threads?

With Windows Vista, possible solution is to use compatibility mode (Windows XP, Service Pack 2) with enhsim.exe. See Bug: Threading Issue.
